BR 2-16: The little red Hen

“Who can help me? ― I can’t.”(p.11)

  I read a book about the little red hen. She found wheat seeds that day, so she proposed growing it with her friends, cat, duck and goose. But they didn’t help her. She finished growing and cooking breads to use it. Finally, they want to eat breads that she cooks, but she didn’t allow it. So they couldn’t eat.

 This story isn’t happy end. I think some foreign picture books aren’t happy end. Japanese picture books are almost happy end. I felt culture different. But I have good point in this book. I like picture the best in this book. It is pretty.

  I recommend reading this book to you.
