Strawberry Fair

  　I think writing about one of good restaurant which I like. It is “Kuryouan”. There is first floor of hotel castle. This restaurant uses food of Kumamoto and cooks Japanese dishes, so I recommend tourists who come from other prefecture. They can eat local dishes in Kumamoto if they go here.
    
      Kuryouan is hold “Strawberry Fair” in spring every year. We can eat as much as we like for 1,200 yen. In this connection, people of high school and under are 1,000 yen. But it is only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
     Strawberry is “Hinoshizuku” in Kumamoto. This is new type which was born in November 2003. The size is bigger than other is a characteristic of Hinoshizuku. And it is sweet and vivid color.

       This event is hold from March to the beginning of April. It is becoming thing in spring now, so many people visits every day during period.
      I go to every year. Naturally I went with friend this year too. It made us happy. I’m looking forward to holding “Strawberry Fair” every year!

My Favorite Town Is Kumamoto

   

    I have lived in Kumamoto since I was born. I love Kumamoto so I think writing about it.

      First, I'm telling about food. Kumamoto has two famous foods. They are "Basashi" and "Karashirenkon".
      Basashi is raw meat of horse. It usually eats with grated garlic, welsh onion and soy sauce. It is delicious but it is expensive, so we often can't eat.
      Karashirenkon is stuff hole of lotus root with mustard, and it fry.
I have never eaten it yet. Also, other famous foods are "Taipyen" and "ikinari dumpling".

     Next, I'm telling about tourist attraction. I want to watch the Kumamoto castle if people of other prefecture come here. Kumamoto castle famous nationally. In brief, it is a symbol of Kumamoto. Also, we can see the cherry trees are in full bloom in spring around there. So, the place is crowded with many people who go out to see the cherry blossoms.
    There is "Jyosaien" around Kumamoto castle. It is rest place, so you can have a rest when you are tired from trip. And you can buy souvenir because Jyosaien has many different stores.

    Finally, I'm telling about Kumamon. It is mascot character in Kumamoto. He has black body and red cheek. He was born March 2011. His work reports to be about appeal of Kumamoto. He was selected for sales manager. So, he often shows up at different events. He appears not only Kumamoto but also other prefectures.
    It was hold a contest which decides the best character in Japan. The name is "Yuru character contest". Kumamon won first prize in this contest. He has becoming famous character since then.
   He is loved by everybody. I think he is very cute. He will be in full activity from now on.

   Kumamoto has many good things like this. I love Kumamoto. I want many people to come Kumamoto one time!

My Hobby

 I have two hobbies.
     First, I like watching the movie. I often go to TSUTAYA near my house, and I borrow some DVD. I think Japanese movie is more interesting than foreign. So, I like Japanese movie. There is popular movie area in TSUTAYA. I usually find interesting movie. Recently there are two movies "Paradaise Kiss" and "Parade". I borrowed those. Those were interesting very much for me.
     I like "LIAR GAME" the best of all the movie. It is suspense movie and starring Erika Toda.
She is popular actress in Japan. I like her, because she is very cute! I suggest this movie if they ask me what is interesting movie.
    Next, I like trying out the food at one restaurant after another. I often eat out with my friend holiday. My friend is Yuko. She knows many restaurants they serve good meals. So, she takes me there.
    The other day, we went to Aso farmland. We eat ice-cream cone there. It is famous for delicious. We took a bath after lunch. The hot spring gave us a chance to relax. And we had a dinner at restaurant near there. I ordered course meal on clerk's recommendation.
    There is rice, salad, vegetable soup. Fish boiled and seasoned, and the main dish. It was steak.
Those meals had a hearty. Moreover, the clerk serves a fruit cake as dessert. We ate until we were full. We couldn't eat all. But I thank eating good foods make us happy!
   I want to enjoy doing hobby from now on.

Cooking day!

   
I had nothing to do this day, because the rain continued all day. I would go driving with my friends if it didn't rain. I don't like rain, so I spend cooking at home. But I don't usually cooking. My mother cooks my meals every day. I like meals that my mother cooks, so I cook sweets and I give her it.
    She likes cheese cake very much, but she has been to a diet now. So, I had to cook fewer calories it. I examined the recipe at PC. I found the recipe meet the conditions it is light cheese cake. In stead of using cheese, it uses yoghurt. It is lower than cheese and healthy.
    I went to buy ingredient at supermarket near my house. I began to cook at 12:00 and finish cooking at 15:00. I tasted the cake to see if it is good. I thank it is good so I gave her it when we finished having dinner. My mother ate this cake, she was very pleased. I was very happy too.
    I want to get a try one more time if I have free time.

French Food In Suizenji

February 29, I went to French food restaurant with my friends and teacher. This restaurant named "Hichisai". There is Suizenji. I had never eaten French food one time.
    This day, my teacher was took us there. Her name is Fumiko. She likes to eat varied foods because she is home economics teacher. Also, her hobby is trying out the food at one restaurant after another. So she is quite familiar with varied foods.
    I enjoyed eating and talking with Fumiko. She touch us the restaurant that have many dishes good taste. So, I want to go there someday!

Mos Course

      I took Mos course for 4 days with Chihiro. We had to go Paris PC school at Shimotori. There is second floor building. The lesson started at 11:00 am, so I got up 8:00 am and went there by bicycle. Mos operations according to problem with function of Word in PC. We successful if it can get score more than 800 on the examination.
    We took class for 6 hours a day. And we had a lunch at 13:00 everyday. We often ate donut, because there is Mister Donut near the building. It finished class at 17:00.
    We took examination February 25. Finally I was successful with Chihiro too. I was very tired for 4 days, but I thank good I made a push to pass the examination!

The Marathon In Kumamoto Castle

   February 19, the marathon contest was hold in Kumamoto. It named "Kumamoto castle marathon". There was about 10,000 people entry for the marathon.
   I cheered participants with my friend. Because my friend took part in this contest. Her name is Hikari. she played basketball when she was high school student. And she was captain in basketball team. So she has good locomotive power. She took part in 4km course. This course is the shortest but it isn't easy to finish running. I watched running people. I looked people was tired. She safely finished running. I asked her "How are you feeling? “ She answered "I'm tired but I have a sense of achievement, so I'm very happy! “
  I want to join if it holds that next year.

Party With My Friends

  

February 17, we had a party with my friends. There were 11 people and they have been my friends since I was high school student. Because we were same class when we were junior. So, I enjoyed having nice every day my high school life.
   There were 40 people in my class, but everybody couldn't come this party because they are member of society half of my classmates. They are employment at each company after graduation from high school.
   I saw everyone after a long separation. We gathered in last summer, so we didn't see for half a year. We enjoyed talking that day. And having dinner. We could eat as much as you like for 2,000 yen at the restaurant that we went. Moreover we could have many sweets!
  A good time was had by all. I'm very happy. I want to see everyone next summer vacation.
